Yoke Capital exists at the intersection of three decades of Texas operating experience and modern underwriting discipline. Wade has operated multifamily and manufactured housing communities through every Texas cycle since 1995. Nate brings systematic underwriting, capital markets, and execution discipline to the partnership.

Neither generation pulls this load alone. The operating know-how doesn't compound without disciplined capital deployment. The capital doesn't compound without operators who know what to do with it once acquired. Yoked, we move what neither could move alone — patiently, conservatively, and over multi-year holds.

Three Decades of Experience.
One Firm.

1999

The first acquisition

Wade Easton acquires Irving Commons in Irving, Texas — the first property in what becomes a multi-decade operating record. In the years that follow he builds and runs the portfolio under AK & B Inc., the family's operating company.

2008

Manufactured housing becomes the core

By the late 2000s the portfolio centers on manufactured housing communities across the Texas Triangle — Cedar Bayou, Cobblestone, Arlington Forest Acres, and Cypress Grove among them. Cypress Grove alone is owned and operated for seventeen years.

2020

Expansion into RV and scale

The portfolio broadens across the housing-affordability spectrum, adding RV resorts in Seguin and Floresville alongside new manufactured housing communities in Houston and New Braunfels. AK & B Inc. is now operating across South and Central Texas.

2024

Systematic underwriting begins

Nate Easton begins full-time systematic underwriting of Texas multifamily and MHP deals — proprietary models, screening tools, and counter-underwriting frameworks — bringing modern capital-markets discipline to nearly three decades of operating experience.

2025

The thesis sharpens

Counter-underwriting and bid analysis across multiple Texas markets crystallizes the firm's focus: conservative, long-hold, cash-flowing assets across the Texas Triangle.

2026

Yoke Capital is founded

Wade and Nate formalize the partnership. Two generations, one yoke. Building on AK & B Inc.'s twenty-seven-year operating record — and a fresh slate of 2026 acquisitions in Von Ormy, Lytle, and Wylie — the firm opens capital relationships to a curated network of accredited investors.

Hands-on operating discipline across every property in the portfolio. Leasing strategy, capital improvements, lender relationships, and quarterly investor reporting written by operators — not marketers.
